Our Champion Danny
Harveys # 2349’s Danny Goodwin and 22 of the greatest grocery baggers in the nation gathered at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada competing for top honors in the U.S.A. Best Bagger, sponsored by ConAgra Foods. The BEST Baggers from around the country were rated on speed, bag-building technique, weight distribution between bags, style, attitude and appearance.
Danny was announced into the top 5 of the nation. After one last bag off between the top 5, Danny was declared #2 in the NATION!! What a sweet victory that was for all of us at Harveys. The winning bagger this year was from Martin’s in Indiana.
We at Harveys pay tribute to “OUR CHAMPION” Danny. This has been a great adventure for all of us. Danny represented us proudly and he will never forget this opportunity. Over the past 5 years Danny has won 3 company titles, 1 state title, a 2nd and 3rd place finish in state and now 2nd in the nation. WOW!!! Danny has now won approximately $11,000 along with two trips to San Destin, Fl, one trip to Amelia Island, Fl and a free trip to Las Vegas, NV. Being a Harveys bagger, his dedication and hard work have really paid off BIG for Danny.
